FAQ
What Insects are Targeted by the IntraLight Solution?
IntraLight pesticidal light treatments target a wide range of small soft-bodied insects including spider mites, russet mites, thrips, aphids, and more. Properly applied nightly pesticidal light treatments will prevent infestations by these pests or reduce their population below economically damaging levels. Insects with tough chitinous exoskeletons are generally unharmed, allowing beneficial insects such as ladybugs to be utilized alongside the IntraLight pesticidal system.
What Diseases are Treated by IntraLights?
Microbes are highly vulnerable to IntraLight treatments. Many common viruses, bacteria, fungus, blight, and mildew are directly targeted by each application of pesticidal light.
Will Photo-Period Sensitive Crops be Effected by IntraLights?
Photo-sensitive plants will not have their photo-period affected by nightly light treatments.
How do I set up my IntraLights?
IntraLights are designed to be set to come on for a 60 second burst every 24 hours. This treatment must occur in the dark period, with ideally 2-4 hours of darkness preceding and following the treatment. Connect your IntraLights to one another if daisy-chaining multiple units, securely tighten the waterproof connectors. Connect the terminal IntraLight to a waterproof timer and suitable waterproof GFCI outlet.
What is the Power Rating of the #5 Ring Light?
#5 Ring Lights run at 6 Watts, 100-120 Volts, 50/60Hz.
How many IntraLights can be Daisy-Chained Together?
Up to 90x #5 Ring Lights can be daisy-chained together to a suitable power source.
